This is a private reference site, not an Otsego County government office. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, schedule jail visits, or retrieve an official booking record. Use the official contact points below for those tasks.

Official Offices for Jail, Records, and Court Questions

Otsego County uses different offices for jail custody, sheriff records, prosecution files, and criminal court scheduling. Start with the office that controls the record or custody stage you need.

  • For a person believed to be in local jail custody, use jail inmate records guidance and contact the Otsego County Sheriff's Office Corrections Division at 607-547-4252.
  • For booking-photo availability, use the jail roster mugshots page and the sheriff FOIL records process because no official public mugshot gallery was located.
  • For charges and court dates after an arrest, use court records after a jail arrest, the Otsego County Court, and New York WebCriminal where applicable.
  • For facility address, phone, and jail-process details, see Otsego County Jail.
  • For a sentenced New York state prisoner, use the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision incarcerated lookup rather than the county jail process.
  • For federal or immigration custody, check the Federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator System. VINELink can also be useful for custody and release notifications where the facility participates.
